Meet the Team

Mark Porter

With more than 17 years of experience in the pest control industry, Mark is our founder and managing director. Mark has the important task of bringing in business, as well as looking after and maintaining relations with existing clients who depend on his expert knowledge.

Mark’s passion got our business where it is today. He’s out in the field every day and never misses an opportunity to get involved in any of our current projects. He also assists Holly and Dawn with admin work and accounts.

Holly Porter

As office manager and joint co-director with Mark, Holly is the “engine room” of our business. In addition to linking clients with our service team, Holly supports Mark by organising his appointments for each week

Holly is not only a direct contact for key account clients but also the initial point of contact for our new clients. Working from home most days, she ensures client relations are maintained to the highest standard and strives to get the job done as best she can.

David Parrott

With a wealth of experience from his years working as a roofer, David is heavily involved with the bird-proofing side of our business. His expertise in working at heights and experience working safely in tricky situations is a huge advantage for us. David is the proud driver of our green machine, which has the prestigious number of LO57 RAT. A real asset to our business, he is the “bird man of PPC”.

Freddie Beasley

Since he joined the business in February 2022 as a trainee, Freddie has become a real asset to our business. He initially spent four months working with Mark around Greater London, observing and learning about how we work. Freddie now looks after our London-based portfolio, swiftly responding to emergency calls on his moped. He is enjoying being part of our team.

Aimee

Sister to co-director Holly and daughter to admin team member Dawn, Aimee is part of the PPC family. She joined our business as a trainee in April 2025 and quickly picked up the knowledge and skills needed to work in the field. We have been extremely lucky to get Aimee and her keen problem-solving skills, and we look forward to clients seeing her results.

Dawn Blunt

Dawn has been a big part of the business from day one. Having given Mark that push of confidence when starting the business, Dawn now works alongside Holly in the admin department. She ensures clients receive treatment reports, books in works for the service team, and also helps out with telephone and email enquiries.

Jamie Thornton-Porter

Son of our managing director Mark, Jamie looks after various clients with his regular maintenance inspections. Involved in the business from a young age, he has often worked alongside Mark to learn both his trade, and he enjoys engaging with our clients. Outside of work, Jamie is a keen boxer and a two-time lightweight champion.

Cynthia Edwards

Also known as “Mrs E”, Cynthia came to us from a larger pest control company in July 2024, and she’s enjoying working for a company that goes the extra mile to look after the customer and get the job done. With more than four years of experience in the industry, she helps manage our portfolio. In her spare time, she likes to travel, read books, and eat ‘exotic’ foods (according to Mark and Jamie!)
